Light and
the Eye


Essentially, light represents electro-magnetic energy released into a visible portion of the color spectrum that combines into various energetic wavelengths.  The human eye is capable of differentiating energy wavelengths ranging from ultra-violet to infra-red radiation but is most responsive to the yellow-green portion of the spectrum.
