These lessons are intended for
individuals new to the lighting industry. No
separate printed materials are required, but you may
want lamp and fixture catalogs available as a
reference when those subjects are covered. Please
check back often as topics are always under review
for additions and/or revisions as needed.
PLANNING
For best results, allot necessary time separate from
your daily activities and work at your own pace. If
your study is interrupted, you may wish to review
the last lesson studied before proceeding into
further lessons. For assistance with the course or
to obtain more information, please contact us at
800-334-2212.
COURSE CONTENTS
Each lesson is designed to be completed in
approximately 30 minutes and will soon include a
summary quiz at the end of each section. Lessons
cover material from the principles of light to the
products that constitute lighting systems (i.e.,
lamps, ballasts, luminaires and lighting controls)
to the application of those systems.
From the Table of Contents, you can
move to any of the lessons, although we recommend
that you proceed in order. When you complete a
lesson, simply return to the Table of Contents to
